OBS asset guide

Prepare useful, rights-cleared broadcast assets without exposing secrets or unsafe files.

00 Before you prepare files

Delivery order: onboarding.ikstudios.nl/obs/ → accept legal and sign → pay with your payment number in the PayPal or Revolut note → upload assets on that online form → we create the package → we email the ZIP. Read OBS How It Works first. Do not put secrets or card numbers in uploads. Do not attach files to this printable or email them.

02 Blocked files

Blocked

HTML/XHTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, SVGZ, shell scripts, executables, installers and archives are rejected. SVG is reference-only; use PNG, JPG or WebP for package-ready logos and backgrounds.

Keep editable source packages, fonts, After Effects files and archives until your implementation lead provides an approved transfer method. Renaming a blocked extension does not make a file acceptable.

05 Signed upload flow

  1. Select

The browser checks the filename, extension, MIME type, per-file size, file count and session total before transfer.

  2. Authorise

The portal requests a short-lived, session-scoped upload URL from the onboarding API.

  3. Upload privately

The browser sends the raw file directly to private object storage. It is not embedded in JSON, localStorage or an email form.

  4. Finalize

The portal asks the API to validate and register the object, then submits only the finalized file reference with the intake.

Security & final check

06 Never include

Authentication material

Never upload or type passwords, stream keys, API keys, access/refresh tokens, private keys, seed phrases, recovery codes, session exports, browser cookies or credential screenshots.

For OBS WebSocket, streaming platforms and league services, provide the service name, public documentation URL, data needed and intended workflow. IK Studios will separately coordinate access if it is required.
